Can I Serve in Air Force ROTC and Army National Guard?

If I enroll in AFROTC, then next year can I enlist in Army National Guard while maintaining my position in ROTC and serving full time in Air Force after college?

Not sure why you would want to do all that. College is hard enough. What benefits do you see from the Guard? If you ned money, try for an AFROTC scholarship? You need as much time as you can spare for school and ROTC, and to keep some sort of personal life.

Im not sure what Siad Q was talking about, but I am in Army ROTC at my college and I just joined the National Guard last week.

If you do this, you will go to basic training and AIT during the summer, and then continue your college education during the school year. Once you have 30 college credits you can sign a contract with ROTC which will SMP(simultaneous membership program) your Guard contract and make you non-deployable until you finish your officer training.

Hope this helps, and God bless

Well, I'm sure in your mind you can do all that but, can you find the time to do all that hard training and active duty responsibilities all in one. I hope that you take vitamins,
and all the precautions necessary. In the meantime, put all these dreams on a scale with help of course from and ROTC counselor and my best to you.
