| how can i cure my cats flea allergy and stop steriod injections? my cat has an ongoing flea allergy she claws herself raw the vet gives her steriod injections which do help,but because my cat is young he said that in time she will develop side effects and they will probably shorten her life,but without the injection her life is awful,can any one offer any advice of what to try or do? many thanks      |

| We had a cat with this problem. Is she already on Frontline to prevent flea eggs developing? Have you tried tea tree oil -drops of oil on a moist sponge rubbed into her fur at roots, daily for 10 days? Also treat all her bedding and favourite places in same way. Fleas hate it and it reputedly damages eggs. Check the label. Not to be used around women who might be pregnant. |
