Is it some kind of allergy?

I always get a gritty feeling in my right eye and it swells up for like two days, gets sore and... well... leaks!! Does this sound like some kind of allergy, or is it just from wearing eye makeup??

You may have an eye infection if so you may need some eye drops so go to your local chemist for advice.You will need to stop using the makeup at once.You may be introducing bacteria into the eye from the old makeup you are using at present.All makeup should be replaced after six months or more just look at the labels it will tell you this information.If it was an allergy it is more likekly to affect both your eyes.

Rule out the makeup by leaving it off a week. If that doesn't help, check your bed linen. Have you changed your wash powder or conditioner? If you sleep on that side, you might getting an irritation from your pillow. If its repeatedly bad, definitely get it checked out, as you might have a problem with the tear duct.
