cough and sore throat due to allergies?

What can you do if you have a sore throat and cough from allergies?I know it's an allergy because I only have congestion some mornings.Usually when the room is too warm.Plus aside from the cough and sore throat, I feel just fine.I don't have fatigued or anything that a cold makes you feel.Course my cough could be from post nasal drip.All I know is it's pretty much a throat cold.
We used to have easter lilies near the check stands at work.I'm starting to wonder if it might have triggered something.When it was in the garden area away from the check stands,I was fine.They took it away from the front on Tuesday.I don't cough when I'm outside.. Just in doors.Whether it's home or work.I've had allergies for years.I'm not sure what all causes it.But I do know it affects me every where I go.
It's not preventing me from working etc properly.It's more like irritated/slight annoyance.
In my state we need dehumidifiers not humidifiers.Because it rains all the time.. very humid.

If the sore throat and cough prevent you from performing day to day task seek out medical advise from you Doctor. If it is just irrigating for you, OTC cough drops will help. The problem could be post nasal drip related to allergies. Nonetheless I would see my physician.
