Cows Milk Allergy Diagnosis, how to diagnose this?

Please reply only if you know, cos the web has lots of bits saying to do allergy tests / etc, but other sources state these dont pick up intolerence (hence not useful) and essentially intolerence is tx as the same for allergy in this case, can any docs/ medical ppl clarrify/ help pls? thanks lots in advance
