allergy side effects?

i get bad allergies that cause a constant sore throat, sneezing and headaches plus a runny nose. the problem is i can't seem to find a decent medicine.

alavert: makes me too hyper to do my job properly, doesn't work 100%
claritin: i am a zombie, but works
benadryl: makes me switch from hyper to zombie throughout the day but most effective
zyrtec: switching from hyper to zombie with almost no effect on the allergies

also they all make me super thirsty and dry my throat out. what is a decent one that DOESN'T have these annoying side effects? i need my voice for work and the scratchy throat makes it crack. plus, i have to work by a flower display and i sneeze constantly.

if anyone knows of a non-side effect allergy cure, please help. what works for you?
