...cause a miscarriage? HELP!!!? i can feel pain in my belly when i cough...can this cause a miscarriage?

Coughing cannot cause a miscarraige however, if you treat the cough with the wrong kind of medication it could. You should call your OBGYN and tell them that you are pregnant and experiencing a cough and they will give you a list of medications that may be used while pregnant, but just coughing won't hurt the baby. The pain you are feeling is from the force of the cough on your own ligaments and muscles in your abdomin. Baby is tucked away safely in it's water sac and might even enjoy the jiggle.
