Would a nose piercing be bad for a person with bad allergies?

I want to get my nose pierced but I have really bad allergies. I just want a stud on the nostril.

During the Spring, my nose is always runny. Is it a bad idea to pierce my nose?

yes.
usually they won't let you get one if you have bad allergies.
it's hard to blow your nose with a ring in it.
i would advise against it.

I tried it about twenty years ago a few weeks before ragweed season - it didn't last through August.

I decided to ditch that idea, but if i were to suggest anything it would be to get an itty bitty hoop.
