Asthma, Allergies and pregnancy questions??

I have very mild allergy induced asthma (I am allergic to my dog) and I take singulair and zyrtec for my symptoms, which help me GREATLY. If I do not have my medication, I get hives and congestion from my allergies, and I notice wheezing and difficulty breathing from my asthma (nothing like an asthma attack, although I have albuterol in case I have one, which is very uncommon). Im planning on becoming pregnant, but I would like to know what are the risks of taking the medication during pregnancy, and before I become pregnant? I know I have to talk to my doctor, but has anyone else had this problem before? My symptoms are mild, but could they get worse if I completely stop taking my medication, both before and during pregnancy?
