Make-up and Allergies with Mary-kay?

I've never used Mary-Kay before, and Im having a wedding in 2 weeks. I found a mary-kay constaltant who is willing to do my makeup FOR FREE for myself and 2 bridesmaids.
However when I told my mom about this she was all "I dont want that stuff near me, I tried it once and I broke out EVERYWHERE"
I've never tried it, I RARELY get pimples, and if I do they are the tinyest things ever. I only get a big one about once every 10 months maybe.
When I was younger I was allergic to perfume soup but havnt been allergic for atleast 6 years.
Do you think because my mother is allergic that I have a high chance too?
The consaltant is coming over on saturday (one week before my wedding) to do a trial.
