I know for my dog my vet told me to give him benadrill. But this is a cat so I call you'r vet to see if it is ok.

Sounds like she is sick - I would take her to the vet if she stops eating and drinking.

I think it most likely would be an upper respiratory infection(cold). You really need to take your cat to the vet as he probably will need antibiotics for secondary infection.

It may not be allergies. Although it's possible for cats to have allergies, I don't *think* they typically represent the way they do with humans.

I think a vet visit is in order, because as the first person said, if they lose their sense of smell they'll stop eating and that's a big can of worms.

It may be a URI. But if it turns out to be allergies then at least you'll know what to do the next time.

My cat has allergies and she sneezes all the time. She has a little boogerage coming from her eyes but it's nothing serious. Cats get allergies this time of year just like people and just like dogs you can give a cat benedryl just call your vet to find out what kind and how much. If the cat is coughing and their eating and drinking decline you may need to see a vet.
