It may not be allergies. Although it's possible for cats to have allergies, I don't *think* they typically represent the way they do with humans. I think a vet visit is in order, because as the first person said, if they lose their sense of smell they'll stop eating and that's a big can of worms. It may be a URI. But if it turns out to be allergies then at least you'll know what to do the next time. |

My cat has allergies and she sneezes all the time. She has a little boogerage coming from her eyes but it's nothing serious. Cats get allergies this time of year just like people and just like dogs you can give a cat benedryl just call your vet to find out what kind and how much. If the cat is coughing and their eating and drinking decline you may need to see a vet.
