my eyes are bothing me.. is it allergies or pink eye?

I have had this cold/allergy thing for about a week.. i do have bad allergies and my eyes so tend to get red. However at work on friday someone asked if I had pink eye. I have never had it before so im not certain its it? My eyes are not shut together but my left eye only has hard a small crust on three lashes..its red just on the lower lid. There is no oozing or goopy stuff..is it just my allergies or should i be concerned? Anyone have anything like this?
