Does this sound like allergies to you? Or sinus congestion?

Ok... MY head feels like its gonna just explode with pressure... my ears feel very full and like they need to pop constantly... My nose is stopped up, but running at the same time... my throat is scratchy and im sneezing and coughing... I went to the doc and she insisted its allergies, ok but iv NEVER had allergies in my life... NEVER. So i find that hard to believe.. she prescribed Clarinex, which i took last nite and this morning and guess what? NO relief... .. Does anyone have any suggestions? i cannot take this pressure in my head and ears... i dont think its allergies? what can i take for this pressure... Thanks
