| We have a maltese. After our evening walk he came inside & was hacking. Could it be allergies? If so,what do you give them for that? He wears a Harness      |

| even with a harness if they pull hard they can cough and choke, my 12 lb poochi does cause he is so excited to get out that he does this when he is walking and when he comes in. allergies will cause them to have itchy eyes, skin, and a lot of times red welts plus wheezing and coughing.benadryl is the best med to give them 1 adult pill per 40 lbs of ur dogs weight or in ur case 1/4 to 1/2 2 times a day. check with ur vet to make sure first if he continues coughing with out going out side. |

| Do you walk him with a collar? Or a harness? If you're walking him on a collar, he could be choking himself, and could have a collapsed trachea. |
