allergies in pregnancy ?

Hi as its spring my hayfever is playing up as I general get allergys all year round lol, but worse when its these times of year lol, I was on Cetrizine Hyrochloride which is known as Zirtek, but when I asked my midwife she told be not to take it in the first 12 weeks, I am now 21 weeks and I did ring my doctor after 12 weeks to see if I could take it and he said yes, Im still not so sure to take it or not and would rather not take anything.

As im not comfortable taking medication when pregnant does anyone out there now of anything that I can take or do to help my hayfever/Allergies without medication.
