What allergy medicine won't cause drowsiness?

I have seasonal allergies. Right now, I'm miserable. I have benedryl but that makes me feel loopy and out of my mind. I tried Tylenol Allergy and it wasn't as bad, but I still felt like I was losing it. I have a tournament this weekend and need an OTC med that won't make me feel like I went to Woodstock and sampled a bit of everything. Thanks for your help

Claritin works great! It doesn't cause sleepiness, either. I am taking it right now, in fact, because I live in Georgia, and the pollen is the highest in this state, especially this time of year.

I'm just the opposite of the other GA answerer... Claritin might as well be a spoon full of water, as it doesn't help me at all. While chlorpheneramine maleate (like in Chlor Trimeton) doesn't help me as much as Benadryl, it doesn't make me as sleepy either. Or, you may need to see a doc (or go to a clinic) and see about getting on FloNase. It's sprayed up the nose. My husband SWEARS by it for his seasonal allergies.

i use Claritin... i take it once a day... and itd dosent make me sleepy
i have head other people swear by zyrtec... i personally have never used it... but it could be an option for you..
