My GSD might have chicken allergy.?

Hello, the breeder where I got my angel only breeds imported Shepherds from checkoslovakia so I know I will not have the hip issues. However, I have been dealing with stomach issues which no one seems to be able to fix. She has been eating chicken and rice for the past 6 years and I noticed that she was always scratching her chin and chewing on her feet. I was surprised to find that they can become allergic to chicken. I first switched her to Evangers pheasant and rice but her poops were still pretty soft after a month and it smelled horrible. I switched again to AvoDerm baked lamb and rice formula about a week or so ago and am awaiting to see how she handles this. About once a week she has what I call a down day where she does not eat or drink the entire day and has constant loud borborygmus. Do you know anything about the AvoDerm dog food? For the down days, she eats grass and will usually vomit yellow bile which is telling me too much acid maybe. I want to help her.

I don't see the correlation between your dog coming from the czek repulic and not having hip issues and what that has to do with a chicken allergy, but anyways. Did your vet tell you she is allergic to chicken or did you just decide that's what it was? Have a vet take a look at her. When my GSD doesn't have anything in his tummy he tends to vomit that yellow bile too. He did thi susually first thing in the morning so I started giving him a milkbone every night before bed and that has helped.

*EDIT* I think I'm leaning more and more toward the BARF diet myself.
