| While formula can raise healthy and otherwise OK babies, its not what's most natural, and as a result, MOST babies have at least some kind of gas or bad reaction to formula, and some of it is severe. I'd first take her to the doctor. Then I'd see about what you can switch your formula to. Since you obviously cannot revert to breast feeding, and have to stick with formula, you'll have to help your baby's gas as best as you can. When my baby obviously wasn't taking well to cow milk based products, I got her some homeopathic gas relief tablets from the grocery store. I plopped them in her milk and while she still did pass gas sometimes, she had no pain or fussiness. They are from Hylands and are for colic relief. They work so well that I nearly cried at times from my OWN relief, lol. Kinda makes sense, if you think about it. With so many lactose intolerant people in this world, you'd think it'd be easier to figure out that cow's milk isnt really all that great for human stomaches and intestines! But its not your fault...now ya just gotta find what works! Colic tablets! Trust me! Hylands! |
