Dogs are no different than humans when it comes to being nutrient deficient. If you want your dog to be healthy, you need to stop feeding him the garbage from the store. It is loaded with bad things like soy products, grains, and many things dogs are just not designed to eat. In many experiments, it has been shown time after time, that dogs need to eat what they originally were designed to eat, not those idiot dog foods.

The itching is from the lack of "B" vitamins and that is due to a poor intestinal flora. The food you have fed him has successfully wiped out his flora. Giving him medications will only make it worse. You will be forcing his body to develop antibodies and if he is nutrient deficient, he will suffer greatly.

My personal experience with making dogs and animals healthier and live much longer lives can be done by following these suggestions:

Have him eat RAW meat for 3 days. The meat must be from cows fed free range grasses or chickens that feed off the ground eating bugs. On the 4th day, you should feed him from your table scraps, the vegetables and fruits (only organically grown, free of pesticides and grown on good fertile soil). The 5 to the 7th day, RAW meat and eggs from free range chickens (no soy fed chickens). Give him lots of good quality water, not tap water. Also, give him a probiotic once per day and good fats from the grass fed animals.

That diet will change his life in days. You will see a completely different animal and his life expectancy will triple. Most dogs fed that diet will live to be over 22 - 25 years old. It's no different than humans. When humans live on their natural diets like the primitive's did, our life expectancies should be 120 to 140 years old.

good luck to you - it works
