HI,I have been taking cymbalta 30 mg. for 4 days now(i have taken it in the past) my mouth is dry and my?

throat feels like it has a huge lump of cotton in it is makinf my neck feel funny,,,,,,i thought allergic reaction so i went to md here and he looked down my throat and at my tounge and felt my neck he thinks im ok but it is very bothersome. I was told you can develop an allergy to a med you have taken before if you stop taking it for awhile and go back on it, I know i need a med for aniety and depression and my dr knows my fear of meds and i dont think he would give me anything else......should i trust this md that looked at me and just keep taking it,,,,,,,or stop it and see if the throat thing clears up..i dont know maybe bad dry mouth cause your thraot to feel like its closing? Any ideas

You should notify the prescribing physician and be seen by him/her or see if he/she recommends a change or staying on it at the prescribed dosage.

Hi. I take cymbalta 30mg three times a day. I also get cotton-mouth. but i drink a lot of water now also, which i believe it works. Hoped i helped a bit. Josie

You need to call your doctor as soon as possible.I was getting really bad dry mouth from Pexeva and Cogentin. I couldn't swallow food unless I drank a sip ow milk or water.I even got bad laryngitis and the inside of my nose dried up too.I called my psychiatrist and she ended up changing my meds again.I'm still getting a dry mouth but it isn't near as bad as before.
