Desirae K has a spectacular aura about
Childrens allergies?

My daughter is allergic to numerous different food. Wheat, Soy, Eggs, Peanuts, And some dairy products. I am wondering if any other parents have the same problem and what you feed your children. I am having a hard time trying to explain to my almost 3 year old why she cant have most the foods that she ate for almost a year and a half. Also i am having a hard time figuring out JUST WHAT to feed her. Any positive suggestions with be greatly appreciated.

My youngest is allergic to peanuts. Dr said it is most likely a mix of family allergies on his dads side and overeating peanutbutter while pregnant and while breastfeeding. I buy soy butter and whatever i make with peanutbutter for my other son i make the same with soy butter for my youngest. He still doesn't understand at 3 years old why his is so different and tries to grap stuff that has peanuts in it. I am waiting for the day that I find a soybutter candy bar becaue he wants a reeses candy bar so bad because they are his brothers favorites. He also is sensitive to any kind of milk but skim and soy. If he has 2% or higher he will get sick so I have to remind people of that all the time. Talk to a nutritionist, you can ask the pediatrician if they have one to recommend. My son is on WIC so they provide one there to talk to and they give a list of unsafe stuff for peanut allergies. When children have allergies as severe as your daughter it can be hard. I would deffinitly talk to a specialist who can help you do a meal plan for your daughter that would exclude all the stuff she is allergic too.
