| Does an allergy to chicken mean I am allergic to all poultry?
A while ago, I had an allergy test done. I found that I was mildly allergic to chicken (I got a "1" out of 4, which is apparently the mildest number.) It's odd, because I had always eaten chicken and nothing bad had ever happened, but I guess not all allergies are alike. My question is, though, if I am allergic to chicken, does that automatically mean I am allergic to all forms of poultry (turkey, duck, etc.)? I'm not quite sure how it works. Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this and (possibly) answer. |
