Asystole has a spectacular aura about
Sounds like a typical allergic reaction. I get a swollen roof-of-the-mouth when eating bananas and I usually take benadryl (if I happen to eat bananas). I have the same issue - still itchy and still spotty after the dose -- you'll just have to give it a day or two to clear up. Try some benadryl that is non-drowsy -- that should help so that you're not completely out after you take it. Also..............stop eating banana

Banana allergy???

okay so i know that i am mildly allergic bananas and raw carrots, but since i was fine when carrots were cooked i assumed the same was true for bananas. thursday a friend of mine made me some chicolate chip banana bread (DELICIOUS) and i ate like half the loaf throughout the day lol. anyway that night my lips got kinda itchy, but i didnt think anything of it, then i woke up the next morning and my lips were bright red and really itchy feeling, and hot to the touch. so i took two benadryl and was knocked out all day came home and crashed. I woke up this morning and all the swelling is gone, and they aren't red but they itch horribly! and when i was looking in the mirrior it almost looks like there are teeny tiny little bumps. is it an allergic reaction? is it normal for it to last so long? what should i do?
