| Tree nut allergy? Last night i ate a handfull of mixed nuts, Imediately after my throat began to swell up. I believe i have a severe alergy to brazil nuts and cashews. the next morning i realized my uvula had swelled to twice its size. any suggestions?      |

| Hi there. Chances are you might actually have developed an allergy to nuts. You need to see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis, and take action. Allergies like yours can kill you. If your throat swells to the point of obstructing your windpipe you risk it badly. Avoid all nuts containing foods and go see your doc. f. |
