need help with getting an indoor only cat that doesn't give allergies?

Hi.
I'm looking to get a kitten soon and i was wondering if anyone has some good ideas.
I'm allergic to most really long haired cats, like persians.
So i am looking for either a short haired cat that can stay indoors at all time.
I will be looking two get maybe two, so they have someone to play with.
I heard ragdoll kittens are indoor cats and they don't have an undercoat, and i was looking into these, as they are my favourite cats.
Also bengals sound adorable, except i heard they didn't like being indoors?
i'm looking for a kind, friendly, cat, that won't destroy things and be kind to the furniture and it can have a friend of a similar bread

oh and btw; i would get a boy and a girl. or two girls. which would play better together?

for some reason i get allergies fast with long haired cats, but with some short hair it takes 30-1 hr of handing before the allergies kick in.

i hope that the allergies are only fur related, cud this be the case? because than i cud think about getting a short haired cat? or ragdoll (because they dont have an undercoat)
