| Does taking allergy medication make me ineligible to donate blood? I plan on donating Wednesday; it is presently Monday night. Can I take a Claritin tablet and still donate?      |

| I don't think you can because allergy medication may be dangerous for donee who has high blood pressure or glaucoma. I would call & ask how long it has to be out of your system. That's nice of you to do that.:-) |
