I have a wheat intolerance - in hindsight I've had it forever, and it explains my childhood bloating and lethargicness, and also my chronic IBS when I worked at Greggs and lived on pasties.

Anyway, since I had my baby at 26 I haven't been able to handle it at all. I kept falling asleep after lunch, which, if you're at college, is not good! So as an experiment, I cut it out. That was 5 years ago and I feel really good, no bloating or cramps, nothing.

It takes 3 months to fully wean yourself off, but it's worth it, I promise! I noticed the difference in days. Try oatcakes or ryvita instead!
