| dog allergies? I have a friend who just got a dog from the pound about a week ago. Her entire household was severely allergic to the dog so she gave the dog to a close, trusted friend. Now her friends entire household is showing the same signs of allergies. Neither of these households have had animal allergies before so they think that there may be something with this dog. He is a jack/rat terrier mix, 1yr old. He has had a bath between switching households. He also acts as though he is allergic to himself (which I know seems odd), but he chews on himself more than average. So my question is has this ever happen to anyone and what knowledge do you have on the subject as far as cause and treatment? Thanks for your help!      |
