I have allergies since I moved to texas ,I'm getting sick of it, Will it ever go

away ? I been having allergies since I came to Texas. I see the weather is pretty hot down here. and a lot of pollen and grass allergens running around . On top of being allergic to these outside allergens I am also allergic to good old dust !

I rarely had allergies to pollen in New york . But over here in houston , all someone has to do is open the kitchen door to the backyard and if I am sitting 10 - 20 feet away from the door , my nose starts to run and my eyes become itchy. That's another thing - my eyes becoming itchy . It's so bad that I have to rub it every second and it's killing my eyes I think as days passes by .

I ran away from new york because of my abusive family . Currently I live with my uncle . So i can't really command them to close the doors or demand them to buy me any medicine , plus my mom never really helped me with any medicinal advices . But anyway - What should I do ?

I am looking for a job and this allergy is coming in the way of everything . Pleasee Help
I been taking some Claritin , but I am not sure if I keep taking them , because of side effects these medicines have . I don't know if it's practical to take claritin every day for a straight 1-month period ?I can't help but think it will have badd side effects

it's probably just your body's way of getting used to a new place, give it time but if it doesn't stop go see a doctor.

Try going to an allergy doctor, I HAD bad allergies and this made them go away.

They will find out what you are allergic to and find the best way to treat it.
You can find a better medicine, but if that doesnt work you can get shots once every week or so for a couple months, and it will build up your immunity and make you less allergic ( thats what i did). Your body will also adapt to being in a new place, so give it time.

goood luck!

South Texas, where growing things never stop. You'll have pollen from something almost year round, and the heat and humidity don't help.

Find the local free health clinic, take the bus there during open hours, ask for help with allergies. Ask for advice from the school nurse if you are in school.

try seeing if local bee's honey will help. by taking or adding a couple of tablespoons a day during high pollen season, you might find it counteracts with your allergies.

trust me, it will get better. the newest in allergies is exposing yourself to them, eventually your body will adjust-but adding the local bee's honey should help.

this time of year there is a lot of pollen.
