| Alternative therapies/medicine for ibs? Has anyone tried alternative theraphies or medicine for treating ibs (type D)? I have had it for 15 years and tried all the over the counter treatments but nothing works. I take acidophilious tablets and they worked for a few years but they're not as good now (probably my body has got used to them). I have had lots of tests so i know its ibs and nothing more sinister. One of the tests showed that i am wheat intollerant, but even cutting out wheat hasnt eased the symptoms. Has anyone tried anything that has helped? (I am in the UK)      |
