Join the Military?

Hey guys, me and my freind plan on going into the military in 5 years from now. I am 12 and a half years old and plan on getting a job to see some "Action". (Please, no anti-war wussies). I would like to talk to some who is in/was in the military. Please post here or e-mail me! Thanks a bunch, dude!
Oh I forgot. I really don't care if I get shot as long as I don't get an arm chopped off. I just want to serve my country, do my duty. Whenever I see an american soldier, I always salute him as he/she is walking by. BTW, I really don't want a job were I sit behind a desk. Peace, I'll keep you guys updated
