I and several other Veterans, and families of, and supporters of our military troopers, have created a group, in which we fully support our troops, and have prepared ourselves to address the Main Stream Media's (MSM) deriding, belittling, demoralising, and 'twisting the news - facts' of our finest, per the MSM's liberal / anti win policy.
I am inviting those of you, who wish to show your support, to come on over and look at the CONSERNED AMERICAN CITIZENS group, read our mission statement, and evaluate your desire to become a member.
Be hereby forewarned, that we are VERY SERIOUS, and any anti military / anti war / liberal / derogatory comments, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, AND WILL BE DELEATED, POST HASTE.

Ed J, I also served in the mid to late 1950's. I am proud to have two (2) Honorable discharges. We DO NOT, dealve into the political arena !!! We are a group which offer our support towards our troops. Political discussions are not tolerated among our comments. Your opinions concerning any political person, party, is yours and there is a 'politics' catagory here at Y/A! for you.
Now, if you wish to become bulligerant, then you are advised to remain here.
Yep, just as I thought; the political NUTZ are out in force, today.
They / you politically oriented persons, are so dead set in your opinions, that you can not / will not stand back and look at any subject and evaluate that sole subject, on its own merits.

If you supported your troops you wouldn't send them on illegal wars to get shot and blown up under false premises for a weak and foolish political 'leader'... it's nothing to do with liberalism if you are pursuing a doctrine that is BAD for your country - and your forces!

This policy destroyed an unprecedented Pro-US alliance overnight... but you still think it's good? What about the effect of wantonly destroying that alliance on the 'war on terror'?! ... so much for winning 'hearts and minds', the US lost ALL it's support and moral authority overnight.

The Bush government is forgetting it's veterans as quickly as its predecessors if you hadn't noticed... and they blamed your intelligence services and outed a spy for self serving political ends - you are a fool to support BUSH (not your troops!) and I am amazed that you quote the constitution when he's been treating it with total contempt.

So the answer is no and your claims about the US media are absurd to anyone outside the US who sees a wider range of much better informed information... US policy has brought misery and poverty to millions of Iraqis, destroyed their infrastructure, implemented torture and instigated a civil war, furthermore it doesn't even count Iraqi dead and Iraqi refugees are in the millions... don't expect them to thank you for it.

US soldiers deserve far better, so do the US people!
