| Does the wife of an active duty Military member need to be a US Citizen to obtain a
US Gov't Job? My wife is from the Netherlands but has been living in the USA for 3 years and is a permanent resident and has a valid green card etc.. She is allowed to work, and obtain all benefits as an American born US Citizen, and has a valid Social Security Number. Any help would be appreciated, or any other contacts which we could call. I'm prior Air Force and thinking about re - enlisting Active Duty. BUT it is up to my wife and if she is able to obtain a US Gov't job or not. If she cant then I am not going to re-enlist, UNFORTUNATELY. She cant apply for dual citizenship because then she would have to drop her dutch citizenship. Again any help with our situation, would be greatly apprecaited.
