Skipping Army reserve training a month?

Whats the policy if your in the army reserve and you can't go to the training one weekend. What if your travelling or if you have somthing important going on can you skip it or move it to a different date? How strict is the army with these things. Thanks.

I'm in the Coast Guard and I know if you miss a month you have to let them know ahead of time. Then you have to make that time up, which usually means coming in during the week to make that time up. Just don't make it a habit of missing drills.
