| Did I make a mistake to pick Chaplain assistant for the army reserves?
My friend told me there is no job transferribility if I make it out of the millitary in one piece and into the real world? Any feedback? Is this a bad choice of MOS? I really thought I'd be a good fit for that position..

^ What he said, but then again, there are only a few jobs in the military that can transfer to civilian life. Most jobs just like the fact that you're a veteran, and it helps you get hired more. Bonus points if you actually do something worthwhile, like fly a plane (commercial airline transferrability), speak a different language (interpreter/translator), or something else. |

It could help your future career, if you choose a field relating to religion. It's also worth noting that by being in the Reserves, you will be eligible for various career benefits.
