Did I make a mistake to pick Chaplain assistant for the army reserves?

My friend told me there is no job transferribility if I make it out of the millitary in one piece and into the real world? Any feedback? Is this a bad choice of MOS? I really thought I'd be a good fit for that position..

^ What he said, but then again, there are only a few jobs in the military that can transfer to civilian life.

Most jobs just like the fact that you're a veteran, and it helps you get hired more. Bonus points if you actually do something worthwhile, like fly a plane (commercial airline transferrability), speak a different language (interpreter/translator), or something else.

It could help your future career, if you choose a field relating to religion. It's also worth noting that by being in the Reserves, you will be eligible for various career benefits. It can also help you get some experience in office work and counseling.
Check out the ACE link below for what college credits you can receive depending on your level of training.
