Chow Mein has a spectacular aura about
What is the % of Army Personnel that are in the Special Forces?

Everytime I meet someone in the Army they all say they are in Special Forces,Air Borne, Ranger,Delta Force
Are there any Army Guys/Girls that actually are Cooks or Motor T or do they just say this to make themselves feel more than they are?

The % is low and when they say this they mean:
Be all they want to be and not be all you can be.
Most of them are jealous deep down inside because they couldnt become a Marine so they just come up with fairy tales.

Around 1% are Special Forces (Green Berets). They have less than 10,000 men.

Rangers have even less men than SF.

Delta, who the hell knows.

For every combat soldier there is, according to an old army addage, 7-10 support soldiers. Also, civilians seem think that because a soldier went to Ranger, Special Forces, or Airborne school, that the soldier IS a Ranger, Green Beret, or a Paratrooper, that is not true. Most go to these schools for the training, and then go right back to their old support units or conventional combat units. Look at it this way, if you get licensed as an electrician, and then go to work at McDonald's, are you an electrician or a McDonald's employee with and electrician's license.
Most soldiers are McDonald's employees with and Airborne, Ranger, or Special Forces tab/patch. These soldiers will, however, be very quick to tell you that they are special forces, Rangers, or Airborne, since they went to the school. Don't buy it.
