I want to be a scout sniper in the army?

would i have to sign on as an infantryman, if sniper is not available to me what are some other positions that you can be as an infantryman, and what are some ways to start out as an E-2

E-2 no prior college or sign up for 4 years. Scout sniper you must qualify, you don't get to pick it you must qualify and pass training.

Sniper is not a basic enlistment option. It is a school that Infantrymen compete to attend. The school is small compared to other Army Infantry schools and each unit only has a few slots per year. Your best chance of going to the school is to enlist into the Infantry (11x) and try to get an Airborne or Ranger option added to the contract. Then, once you get to your first unit, tell your team leader that you want to do everything that it takes to get to Sniper School. Then back it up with being the best Soldier in the company.

As far as E-2: You can earn 24 college credit hours, refer a friend that enlists and ships to training, or complete the Basic Training Task list with your recruiter.

Other skill level 1 (E-1 through E-4) positions in the Infantry could be: M203 Grenadier, M249 SAW Gunner, Rifleman, Radio operator (RTO), Mortarman, Assistant gunner on a weapon team.
