Anybody know a good rifle for a beginner sniper?

Im not a hunter and in not in the military but im cosidering trying to get a jod as a s.w.a.t. sniper.

Im shooting a .22 semi-auto right now but i want something a little more powerfull, prefably with a bipob(for the front) and monopod(on the stock)(i don't know if those would go anywhere elss but i wanted to be clear).

try this. go on google and type in israeli weapons. there is a picture of the sr-99. its amazing. give it a shot. hey get it SHOT. (we are talking about guns, SHOT!!!!!! its not that funny lol)
