Army National Guard to USMC?

I signed up 3 year active reserve and 5 year Inactive reserve with NJ National Guard. My ETS was up 2008 so I moved to other side of state which is CA. I came here and needed some funding so I re-enlisted with CA national guard. I was suppose to receive 15000 bonus soon but did not receive it yet. Anyhow, I signed up on feb 16th and now it's end of april. I still didn't start my new drill also didn't get any bonus.

I'm changing my mind towards joining Active duty Marines. I am hearing both side of stories where if I stay in guard for another 6 months and join USMC, they can't take my bonus away but some other people are saying that no matter what, they will take my bonus away if I change branch.

Who am I suppose to trust? i can't trust recruiters because they are bunch of bullshitters..
