| I would make an appointment to see someone at LAPD who hires and explain your situation. I think if you are reserve like weekend warrior type you should get a chance to be a reserve or weekday cop.Maybe your reserve time can be done as a cop......even if you switch over to MP's. If that all fails I would think you could apply and state your discharge date as available date. I would talk to police station and maybe your OIC to see if you can apply or get early out.
