i would guess you would get both since it being 2 different agencies. but most of the time they may only give you 1.

You will get a $300 rebate. You qualify if you are on social security or receiving veteran's benefits if you have at least $3000 in income last year and you file a tax return. You sound like you qualify but there is not two amounts, only 1 amount of $300.

You'll just get the $300.

If you don't have to file a tax return, but you got at least $3,000 in Social Security and want the rebate, you need to fill out a 1040A form (sample attached first link) and only fill in the parts that aren't blacked out. It is pretty easy and straight forward. No need to see a professional. The second link is a blank 1040A form.
