No .. you have no reason to be worried as you receive those funds as the result some form of compensation and those funds come from a totally different pot of money than you may of heard on the radio or t.v. someone in either the senate or congress or the white house always disagree on signing the budget.. never fails

may be it got lost in the mail. if you dont get it tomorrow you should call the social security office. they will send you another one and if or when you get the first sent one, you are to send it back. if not they will take out payments every month.good luck and God Bless You

VA benefits are paid on the 1st of the month. If the 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you will get payment on the previous Friday. Same goes for SSDI which is paid on the 3rd of the month. You are better off setting up an automatic payment with your local bank. I got my benefits from both SSDI and VA on Friday. Perhaps some one got a hold of your check. |

Well depending on where you are, it could be weather related as it's been evil in the mid west and right to the eastern seabord. If you haven't got it by Tuesday I 'd call and find out why. Sometimes those little computers do have glitches and eat some cheques. It's happened to me once in Ontario with my odsp. |

No reason why. You should be on the phone at 8AM on Monday. It could be late. So they won't reissue it right away. They used to make you wait a week before they traced it to be sure it had been processed. And then you had to wait 6 more weeks to be sure it hadn't been cashed by someone else. Have your checks direct deposited and you won't have this problem in the future. |

If you don't get it an a couple days get on the phone, I have direct deposit so I don't have those problems, and mine was there right on time. If you have a bank account thats the best way to do it. Many banks will allow you to open an account with out a minimum and by using your atm you don't have to worry about anyone noticing you have a lot of cash on you.
