which branch of the military do you think is the best? if you had to join one...

...[which one?] [and why?]? I come from a military family. My parents were in the air force. So If I had to choose It would be the AF because thats what I was raised around and my parents benefit from it alot. I would like to hear other people's opinons of different branches of the military . . .

Air Force and Navy have the best technical training. Being on a ship for months on end can be a drag though, and the Air Force makes it easier to start you education while in the service. They even have something called the Air Force Community College where they cooperate with community colleges near bases to earn an associates degree. Hard to go to classes in the middle of the ocean.

USAF because you are treated better and you have more choices of technical jobs. You have better living conditions, there is more mutual respect between enlisted and Officers.

Well, my father was in the Army National Guard when I was growing up. Also, I watched "M*A*S*H" a lot over the years, so I kind of came to like the Army. No rational reason for my preference, though.

Each branch has a different function and should be valued for that reason.

I was in the Navy so i have to go with that, and then the Marines I guess

The Marines is the toughest there is. IT may be hard but they have the most pride. They also are the first to fight because they can be ordered by congress, others have to wait for the president to declare war, i think it is because the marines are the toughest and most skilled. Do what you want but once a Marine always a Marine.
