Can someone explain why Illinois veterans cannot even get an...

...acknowledgement letter from their US Senator? When applying for Veterans compensation it is a good idea to have your US Senator keep an eye on your case. it helps move the case along. Yet the veterans that I have had contact Barack Obama have not even received a confirmation letter. When they contact Dick Durbin, within three days his Secretaty in Springfield Betty contacts them through phone and correspondence. Obama ran on veterans issues in the state when he ran for US Senate. Since then he has ran from those he swore he would help.
I personally know veterans that have contacted his office and not received a reply. They have filed their paperwork through the VA with the help of VA personel. Even the VA personel will tell you that having a Senator look into your case seems to move things forward.
Dan the man. I have not applied for veterans compensation. I have personally helped veterans get their paperwork done and get them in contact with those that know more than I do on VA compensation. Yet 5 people now receive 100% compensation benefits from my help.

When applying for V.A. compensation, you don't need a Senator to keep an eye on your case . Not if you got all your paper work together.I'd like to know when you applied for compensation benefits to start with? Then again Dick Durbin is not running for President. I think your just trying to dig up anything you can to make Obama, look bad.Trying to elude you?I don't think so.You try to make it sound like every Senator seat's around just waiting for someone like yourself.I had no trouble getting my Veterans Compensation what's so ever, maybe you didn't have all your proper paper work in order to start with, because it's up to you to gather all the information that the V.A. needs from you.So be a man and step up to the mirror and ask yourself, did I do everything right from the start.Don't try blaming your lack of helping yourself upon Obama. Here's a number for you to call and check upon your file case 1-800-827-1000.

Because he is a democrat, of course he's going to run on veterans issues, and healthcare, and economic reform, and tax reform, then, deliver nothing. It's been that way as long as I can remember. Why do people keep voting for Democrats when they know they are going to do the same thing, say whatever they feel they need to get elected then do nothing.
