After graduating from the Philippine Military Academy you automatically become a 2nd Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of the Philippines... you then get to choose where you want to be enlisted in the Air Force, Army, Navy or Navy - Marines. You get your further schooling on each of these institutions. The Navy Seals equivalent here in the Philippines is called SWAG or the Naval Special Warfare Group (NSWG). If you wish to join them, you have to join the Philippine Navy and enlist in the program. Qualifications is that you must be physically fit and mentally alert and of course morally upright. |
