i have joined the navy as a corpsman, got a few questions...?

i leave in 9 weeks today and what to know what a school is like, what you do in it, what i should study before i go etc etc...
i am a guy so im wonderin if i have to serve with marines or if i can stay blue(ive heard a lot of conflicting things).
im 22 and went to highschool in england so ive been out of school since i was 16 so what i should study is pretty important to me if anyone has any ideas...
and where is the likly place i will get stationed, im trying to go to san diago.... i know im askin a lot just got a lot of questions.
