Can I become financially stable in the Air Force?

Also, do you get more money if you have an Associates Degree?

No. Go look for a scholarship for a rare job, like speech therapy. If you don't want to go to school, see if you can network and find a good job through family or friends.

Our military is pawns for rich people. Don't be played for a fool.

Yes, if you manage your money wisely. It also helps a great deal if you score a deployment or two.

I'm in the Army (stateside), and I have more money since the so-called recession began than I did before.

Depends on what you do with your money. I have seen E2s that can manage money better then some officers.

Overall, yes. You get enough money to live on for the majority of families. At lower ranks it is harder at first. If you stay within your means, life even as an E1 can be comfortable. Expecially since you don't have to worry much about food or medical.

Yes.
You will have a steady paycheck that pays well above minimum wage. If you are single, you will have little or no expenses. Food and shelter are provided.
Your career path and your pay are only limited by your ability to follow orders, do well, and seek employment.
The harder you work, the faster you get promoted, the more money you will make.
