| In Navy DEP, Can I switch to ARMY ? Un-Happy with Navy Opportunites, want to check... ...out the Army instead.? Wanted Intel but I potentially wont get ym clearance due to a stupid mistake I made when I was 17, and a False Accusation that ended with the records being Sealed and Expunged this is all theoretical pending my actual denial of Clearance      |

| Yeah, but it will really piss your recruiter off and he'll probably tell you it's illegal. But the contract you signed to join the DEP isn't really legally binding until you swear in the second time when you ship though. |

| You can, but it is tricky. first, you may want to sneak and let the Army recruiting station commander know. normally we talk to the other branches. now if the guys are on good terms, they may release you, if not, you will have to be a DEP drop, then wait and join the army. but make sure you ask all the questions you need before you make a choice, and don't get pressured to go "down now" Recruiters have cut off dates, and they may try to push you to make "mission" for the month. |
