Sherman has a spectacular aura about
I have eczema, flatfeet, allergies to pollen, cats and dogs. How will...

...these affect my entrance into US Army? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eczema
(Basically, it's not contagious, it's hereditary, just makes my skin itchy.)

I read somewhere that the Army prohibits skin diseases, please help with this.

And will flatfeet affect which MOS I can choose? or anything else?
My eczema is limited to the elbow (where the veins are, not the outside bony area). I don't have eczema anywhere else and the area does not have open lesions, it just gets red and dry.

I thank you for your responses and I hope for more. Please respond if you are sure about your answers. Thank you!

Flatfeet alone will prohibit your entry...unless you can fake it, but if you get in (and know people who have) and you can deal with the problems associated they will keep you. As far as allergies and eczema NO problem...I think the only one that matters is an allergy to wool. Fake it till you make it, if you really want in. But I have flat feet and trust me the running is NO joke!
