why is everything sooo secretive related to space etc???or related to aliens

or ufo's? just tired of hearing how from a religious standpoint it will bring down the world religions..or that we are sooo "lame "that our egos cant handle the fact that there may be anything other than ourselves in the vast univers??..so many footprints in time are present...in all continents..do they think we are so superficial..are we???
